August 26, 2024
Dear Members of Our Campus Community,
As I announced to our campus on June 26, after 11 years of distinguished leadership of our Admissions Office, and nearly 40 years of dedicated service to UC Santa Barbara, Executive Director of Admissions Lisa Przekop has decided to retire.
In consultation with our Executive Vice Chancellor, Academic Senate, faculty, staff, and administrative colleagues and students, I am pleased to announce the formation of a search advisory committee for our next Executive Director of Admissions. Professor Michael Gordon, former chair of the Academic Senate Committee on Admissions, Enrollment, and Relations with Schools (CAERS), has graciously agreed to chair this important committee. Members of our search advisory committee are listed below. We sincerely appreciate the commitment of Dr. Gordon and our search advisory committee members, and the devotion of their time, energy, and wisdom to help our campus fill this important position.
Sincerely,
Henry T. Yang
