Search Advisory Committee for University Librarian

Dear Members of our Campus Community,

In my campus memo of January 9, 2017, I announced that University Librarian Denise Stephens has accepted a position as the Vice Provost and University Librarian for Washington University in St. Louis, beginning July 1, 2017. I would like to take this opportunity once again to thank Denise for her exemplary leadership of our Libraries and her many contributions to our campus community, as expressed in the January letter.

Following consultation with our Academic Senate and other campus colleagues, EVC Marshall and I are pleased to announce the formation of the search advisory committee for our next University Librarian. The committee membership is listed below. We extend our sincere thanks to Professor Bruce Tiffney for graciously agreeing to chair this committee. We also thank all of the committee members for their willingness to devote their valuable time and wisdom to this important search for the benefit of our campus.
