TO THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management. The School has been blessed by a very high level of philanthropic support – especially the generosity of Donald Bren – as well as the leadership of two excellent deans and the contributions of outstanding faculty, staff, and students. In 2002, we celebrated the grand opening of Bren Hall and its LEED platinum rating, certifying it as the greenest laboratory building in the
I would like to thank Dr. Dennis Aigner for his excellent leadership and service as Dean of the
· the School has grown to include 19 faculty members, 6 adjunct and affiliated faculty members, 6 researchers, 115 master’s students, and 32 Ph.D. students;
· 196 students have earned master’s degrees in environmental science and management, and 8 have earned their Ph.D.s.;
· 37 students have earned MBAs with an emphasis in corporate environmental management;

I am pleased to announce that a search advisory committee has been formed, and that Professor John Melack has graciously agreed to serve as chair to the committee. The roster of the committee is listed below. An announcement of the position will be circulated shortly.
