Dear Members of Our Campus Community,

I am pleased to announce that the search advisory committee for the next Dean of our College of Creative Studies has been formed, and that Professor David Valentine has graciously agreed to serve as chair of the committee.

I sincerely thank our Executive Vice Chancellor, Academic Senate, faculty, staff, administrative colleagues, and students who have been part of the consultation process in the formation of this committee. I also thank each of our committee members and the chair of the committee for their individual commitments to help our campus community with this important search.
